Is Scalping Halal in Islam? Spreads, Swaps & Ultra-Short Trades

Scalping in forex and crypto: seconds-long trades, spreads, and overnight swap. How it relates to maysir vs a genuine currency sale.

Short answer: Scalping (seconds to minutes) is usually treated more strictly than longer spot holding. You are harvesting spreads on price noise, often with leverage. Overnight swap still applies if a position crosses the cutoff. Not a fatwa.
